FAQ


1. What do I do if I need to return something?

First, you need to contact us (bgstufftobuy at bloodhoundgang.com) and let us know your order number, what you need to return, and why. We will happily accept unworn and unwashed clothing items for exchange or refund, but if it's been worn or washed, it's yours - sort of like "you break it, you buy it" only with smells and dog hair and all the other crap that's been on stuff people have tried to return in the past. Once you contact us, we'll provide you with the necessary return information, etc. If we've made an error (sent a size other than what was on your order, that sort of thing), then we'll reimburse you for shipping. Otherwise, you must incur the cost to return the item(s) to us.

2. How long will my order take?

We ship orders once, sometimes twice, each week, generally on Thursday or Friday. Thus, if you place your order on Friday, it probably won't ship until the following week. There are also delays depending on credit card processing, PayPal authorization, etc. so even if you ordered on an earlier day, it might not ship for another week due to the payment being approved (note: most transactions clear within 24 hours; stuff like PayPal e-checks take much longer, however). Once an order ships, it takes 2-3 days for a domestic (U.S.A.) package shipped via Priority Mail, and anywhere from 7-20 days for international. With international shipping, the biggest delays come from customs, over which we've no control. Interestingly enough, orders to Europe usually arrive faster than orders to Canada. Go figure.

3. You're out of stock on the item / size I want!

Depending on the item, it may just be something that's out of stock temporarily (so check back later), or it may be something that's been discontinued. We remove items, and add new ones, regularly, but if you absolutely have to know the answer to a question, you can always write us (bgstufftobuy at bloodhoundgang.com).

4. How are shipping costs determined?

Shipping costs are based on weight, so, the heavier your order, the more it's going to cost in terms of shipping. Domestic orders ship via Priority Mail, and orders outside of the USA have the option of Priority or First Class shipping. First Class is less expensive (by far), but takes a little longer to arrive.

5. Why don't you sell (insert your favorite item we no longer sell here) any more? Where can I find (insert your favorite item we no longer sell here)?

Because we sold it for years, and it stopped selling well. Try ebay.

6. I don't have a credit card - can you accept a money order by mail?

No. Use PayPal. If you don't have a bank account (which is all you need to use PayPal), then ask your mom / dad / crazy uncle to order it for you.

7. I keep getting an "AVS mismatch error" but I'm providing all the correct information - what the hell?

We apologize for that, but international addresses (and some in the USA) cause a problem with the credit card verification system that we use. We recommend you use the PayPal option, as that will alleviate the problem. You can still use your credit card, just run it through the PayPal option instead of the "regular" credit card option.

8. Can I use a Visa / AMEX / etc. gift card?

NO. You MAY be able to use it through the PayPal option, but you CANNOT use it through our credit card system, so please don't try.

9. I need definite sizing information for your shirts - why don't you have it available?

We cannot provide measurements for merchandise, as it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, and we'd rather write new music than measure all that crap.

10. I received a BG gift certificate, but there isn't anything in the BG store that I want - can I have a refund? I have $x left on my gift certificate, but there isn't anything I want - can I have a refund?

No - there are no refunds on gift certificates OR gift certificate remainders. Sorry.

11. I ordered like, 10 days ago, and my order status still says "pending."

Your order has PROBABLY shipped if it's been 10 days. Unfortunately, we can't always update shipping status, especially during busier times of the year (e.g. the last 3 weeks of December). If you really need to find out the status of an order, then use the contact info and drop us an e-mail. We may not respond immediately, but we DO try to write within 24 hours (and it's usually faster than that).

12. I ordered like, a month ago, and my order hasn't arrived yet - what the hell?

If you used Priority Mail, then write us and we can give you a tracking number (ALL domestic orders are sent via Priority Mail, and if you want tracking on an international package, then you should upgrade for it). We are NOT responsible for lost packages, but we're not out to dick anyone over either. In the event of a lost package, we'll deal with it on a case by case basis.
